ABOUT THE CLASS:
Personalized teaching for small
groups - we teach small groups of 1 to 10 people, therefore you will get enough attention from the teachers to learn and progress
at your own pace.
Language-
The teacher speaks English and Spanish.
What is Yoga? Yoga is a practice for the
whole being. It includes mental and physical techniques to help you in all
levels. Human beings are not only made of physical bodies therefore there is the need for
a practice that addresses the psychological, mental, and spiritual well being as
well.
The Classes - Multilevel: Our method is
called Ananda Marga and it is a more meditative system of Yoga. If the mind is
balanced all other things are easier. Each session comprises of
meditation, learning the Yoga principles of Yama or Niyama, warm-ups, yoga
postures with breath control, self-massage and deep relaxation. Our classes are
not a physical work-out but they will build up your mental and physical strength
simultaneously. The classes are for those sincere in reaching their health
and fitness goals
The Instructors often are monks
of Ananda Marga who underwent advanced Yoga training in India and are very
experienced in the higher Yoga practices. It is a rare opportunity to learn Yoga
directly from the monks. Otherwise a skilled member of our organization
will lead the class.
What to Wear - Wear comfortable
clothes.
Do not eat just before classes
- The exercises should be practiced on an
empty stomach, 3-4 hours after a meal.
Yoga Mats -
You may bring a mat or rent the ones
available at the center. Be punctual.

We encourage you to take a package of 5 classes. Yoga
does not bring instant results and it is the regularity that
will bring lasting benefits. Do not go for an instant fix. Yoga
is a serious practice for the whole life and a few minutes of it
daily can bring a big change to your health and mental well
being.
